Amber Byers

Lead Resiliency Specialist

Amber is passionate about helping people heal and grow, holding a safe space for others and helping connect them with the appropriate resources in their community to address their bottom-level Maslow's hierarchy needs so they can thrive. Amber enjoys working with families of children and teens, with a particular proclivity for those with special needs and neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, and giftedness. Amber also has a background in working with those struggling with substance misuse. Amber believes with the appropriate skills and tools, families can learn to support their children and they can collectively begin to thrive.

Amber has 4 years of experience working in mental health. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Towson University in Towson, MD. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Science of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Walden University and is expected to graduate in Spring of 2026 and gain licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
